Radish seeds have a fairly long shelf life just like many other root crops. Don’t be afraid to plant radish seeds that are up to five years old because those will grow just as fine as younger seeds if given the right love and care! During the seedling stage, radishes are sensitive to moisture fluctuation and heat which can affect root development. You can minimize the effects of these factors by placing your seedlings away from intense and direct sunlight and placing in a cool area.
